Amazing white sandy beach

The Playa Pesquero is a 5 star All Inclusive Hotel located on Playa Pesquero beach with its lush white sand and coral. The hotel is a large complex with over 900 rooms spread out amongst beautiful gardens full of palm trees and water features. The nearest town is Guardalavaca 20km away.

You have plenty of options for dinner, with two buffet restaurants serving a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you prefer something a little more formal, there is the choice of six a la carte restaurants- Seafood, Romantic, Grill, Italian, Mediterranean and Caribbean. The Italian restaurant is particularly popular and an unusual experience as it floats on a pond right next to a Gondola. Just like being in Venice! The 24 hour snack bar keeps rumbling tummies quiet for those who can’t wait until dinner.

There is no shortage of activities at the Playa Pesquero. The Paradisus Rio de Oro Resort has 5 bars to choose from, including a lobby bar, a piano bar and a beach bar. The two lagoon swimming pools curve around the ample sun terrace, joining at the swim-up bar where you can cool down with a particularly good cocktail. There are a huge number of activities included in the all inclusive package. There are catamarans, windsurfing and introductory scuba lessons in the swimming pool. For those confident enough, you can scuba dive in the sea for a local charge – it’s well worth taking some banana or bread to lure in the colourful tropical fish. There are tennis courts which are lit at night and lots of other sports to get involved in. The hotel also has a spa for some rest and relaxation, although not part of the all inclusive package. Wellness packages are available for massages, facials and manicures.

The buffet restaurant is fantastic serving freshly cooked meat, seafood, cheeses, fruit and superb deserts that other buffets don’t even come close to. Reservations can be made at the a la carte restaurants, Japanese, Gourmet, Mediterranean and Creole. Each restaurant is beautifully furnished and décor is top quality. The show tables in the Japanese restaurant really are something to entertain, as well as satisfy your hunger!
